They won against Leeds in the last round away from home, which will give them a huge confidence boost before this match.

Bristol City find themselves in eight place and are a part of the eight teams who are challenging for the last two playoff spots. The winners of this battle currently are Aston Villa and Middlesbrough with 57 and 58 points respectively, but Bristol have 55, and it’s going to be a tight race until the end. However, Bristol’s form hasn’t been great recently, so they will need to pick it up if they want to remain in the race for the playoff places.

Both teams are in good health before the clash. The only major doubt is Jake Wright for Sheffield. He has a broken cheekbone and hasn’t played for almost a year.

Sheffield United are unstoppable at the moment and have won their last eight games at home in the Championship. They’ve also kept a clean sheet in seven of them, which shows just how impressive their defense has been this season. The blades are undefeated in their last ten matches in the league and the last time they dropped points at home was against West Brom in December.

Bristol City aren’t in the best possible form, having lost four of their last six matches and winning in none of them. Their last victory came in February against QPR at home. Both teams have something to play for, but at the moment Sheffield United just seem too good for the other teams in the Championship.
