Picked up from Leganés in 2025, Diomande has wasted no time terrorising full-backs: six Bundesliga goals, five assists, plus DFB-Pokal end product to boot. Internationally, he’s already landed a statement strike at AFCON against Burkina Faso and has nine caps in the bank. Direct, aggressive and slippery off the dribble — no surprise Europe’s elite (hello, Liverpool) are sniffing around.

22) Dro Fernandez — Paris Saint-Germain & Spain, Attacking Midfielder (18)

Polished by Barcelona’s talent factory and trusted in brief bursts by Hansi Flick, Dro turned heads so decisively that PSG swooped in January to lock him down. The sample size is small, but the confidence isn’t — head up, half-turn, zip one into the pockets. He’ll need patience in Paris, yet the craft is there. If PSG handle him right, they’ve pinched a long-term No 10-in-waiting.

21) Franco Mastantuono — Real Madrid & Argentina, Winger (18)

It takes something special for Real Madrid to lay out around £38.5m for a kid not yet 18 — and Mastantuono is special. River Plate’s latest headline act has eased into life at the Bernabéu, already finding the net in the Champions League during a thumping of Monaco. Learning daily from Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius and Rodrygo isn’t a bad syllabus. Expect his cameos to swell into starts before long.

20) Ethan Nwaneri — Arsenal (loan: Marseille) & England, Forward/Winger (19)

When Arsenal needed a spark amid injuries to the big guns, Nwaneri put his hand up and delivered in 2024/25 — two-footed, nimble and brave in the tight spots, with four Premier League goals to show for it. The Marseille loan should have been the next launchpad, but Roberto De Zerbi’s exit and a change of manager slowed the rhythm. Don’t overthink it: the talent is loud. The end product will follow if he gets a consistent run.

19) Senny Mayulu — Paris Saint-Germain & France, Midfielder (19)

Ambidextrous, elegant and happy to play between the lines, Mayulu has quietly stacked up nine goal contributions across Ligue 1 and the Champions League. The obstacle? PSG’s engine room is rammed with high-end options, including Joao Neves and Vitinha. Even so, he keeps nudging forward in the pecking order. Press-resistant players who can accelerate play are gold dust — he’s trending that way.

18) Leny Yoro — Manchester United & France, Centre-Back (20)

Linked with half of Europe but snapped up by United, Yoro arrived with a Ligue 1 education and 40-plus senior games already banked for Lille. The 6ft 2in frame wins duels; the calm on the ball wins hearts. He’s even shown he can stand in as a screen when needed. United’s 2024/25 wobble wasn’t pretty, but Yoro’s composure stood out — and yes, you can see why people whisper Ferdinand-like comparisons, even if that’s a heavy old shirt to wear.

17) Rio Ngumoha — Liverpool & England, Winger (17)

Small sample, big moments: a last-gasp winner against Newcastle to blow the doors off, then a whirlwind cameo versus Forest that ended with Alexis Mac Allister burying the decisive strike. He’s had limited senior minutes, but the chaos factor is irresistible — pace, trickery, and the fearlessness only a teenager carries. Handle with care and Liverpool might just have their next crowd-lifter.

16) Max Dowman — Arsenal & England, Winger (16)

Sixteen years old and already shredding egos — Dowman plays like the dribble button is stuck on. Close control, change of pace, and the swagger to try it again after he’s been clattered. He’s not about to start 50 games for Mikel Arteta this season, but remember the milestone: the youngest scorer in Premier League history. That’s the sort of marker that screams elite trajectory.
