Tresoldi feels like the deluxe version of that bet: two years younger than Parrott, a more imposing frame, and already blooded in the Champions League. Club Brugge are said to value him around £43 million, but that Parrott fee hints there’s negotiating room — especially if multiple clubs hover.

Transfer fees can swing like odds on the best betting sites, and Spurs will fancy there’s a deal to be done below the mooted £43 million if they move early and decisively.
